To address the challenges posed by the compact size and restricted number of product to display, we fully covered acrylic mirror across the back wall. This strategic use of reflection visually doubled both the perceived depth of the space and the quantity of products on display, creating an immersive optical illusion.

To maximize the advantages of high-frequency bending, we developed a unified shell structure in which the seat and backrest are formed as a single component. ABOUT
Studio PESI is a Seoul-based design studio that specializes in industrial design across furniture, lighting, and objects, while also actively engaging in spatial design, exhibitions, and brand/art direction. Rather than being limited by a single discipline, the studio adopts a cross-disciplinary approach, collaborating with various partners to create meaningful and context-driven outcomes.
Each project begins with a clearly defined direction. Depending on the nature of the project, Studio PESI explores different possibilities-whether it’s pushing the limits of materials and industrial manufacturing processes, or enhancing the structural and formal qualities of a design to maximize its function. In some cases, the focus shifts toward elevating the aesthetic and sculptural presence of an object through the careful study of form, color, and finish. In others, the studio investigates how objects can be produced more efficiently or in more sustainable ways, adapting the process to suit the context and purpose.
Through this responsive and iterative approach, Studio PESI strives to create work that balances function, beauty, and sustainability. With a deep interest in the experiential value of design, the studio aims to create objects that are not only useful, but also emotionally resonant and enduring designs that quietly integrate into everyday life, yet remain meaningful over time.
