Cotton, lace fabric, steel
Ø 274 X 398 (mm)
We analyzed inherent properties of a fabric and studied new ways to utilize it. Unlike a conventional weaving technique, we used a lace stitching technique, which is easy to materialize decorations and patterns freely. We also studied a new expression method according to light transmission by layering with cotton fibers in a double structure.
By giving hidden textures on the inside of a fabric, we designed a light shade that has two different inverted images, which are matt and calm when turned off but fascinating with patterns when turned on. We wanted to convey a beautiful charm when it becomes night like wearing a colorful dress.
